Learn how to navigate and use our Kenyan stock market analysis platform
Our platform provides comprehensive analysis tools for stocks listed on the Kenyan Stock Exchange (NSE). You can access historical price data, company financials, corporate events, major shareholder information, and real-time news for all listed companies.
Use the search bar at the top of the page to find stocks by their ticker symbol or company name. For example, search 'SCOM' for Safaricom or type 'Equity' to find Equity Group Holdings. Once selected, you'll see all available data for that stock.
We provide historical price data including daily open, high, low, close prices, and trading volumes. You can view this data in interactive charts or download it for your own analysis. Historical data typically spans several years depending on the stock.
Navigate to the 'Financials' tab on any stock page to view detailed financial data including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets (Assets, Liabilities, and Shareholders' Equity), and Cash Flow statements. You can compare data across different reporting periods to track company performance.
The News section aggregates relevant articles and announcements related to each company, including earnings reports, management changes, regulatory filings, and market-moving events. News is updated regularly to keep you informed about developments affecting your stocks.
Corporate events include dividend announcements, stock splits, rights issues, AGM dates, and other significant company actions. Find them in the 'Corporate Actions' section on each stock page. This helps you stay informed about important dates and actions that may affect your investment.
The 'Holders' section shows the largest institutional and individual shareholders of each company, along with their ownership percentages. This information helps you understand the ownership structure and identify key stakeholders in the company.
The Statistics tab provides key financial metrics, ratios, and performance indicators including P/E ratio, market cap, dividend yield, and more. These metrics help you quickly assess a company's valuation and performance.
Yes, the Files section contains important company documents such as annual reports, quarterly filings, prospectuses, and other regulatory submissions. These documents provide in-depth information about company operations and performance.
Stock prices are updated with a short delay during market hours (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM EAT). Financial statements and corporate events are updated as companies file their reports with the NSE and Capital Markets Authority. News is aggregated and updated throughout the day.
We cover all companies listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange across all market segments including the Main Investment Market Segment (MIMS), Alternative Investment Market Segment (AIMS), and the Growth Enterprise Market Segment (GEMS). Use the search to find any listed company.
